Multimedia Necklace or Bracelet

Learn how to make your own jewelery. You will solder glass charms, stamped silver charms, tin charms, so the techniques learnt will include soldering, how to make a hole easily in metal, metal cutting, glass cutting, wire work, faux aging, jump rings, etc.
You will make a gorgeous necklace or bracelet, learn a TON of techniques!
Students need your basics kit, thin Black Sharpie, clear nail enamel, small cork back metal ruler, paper or ephemera for soldered glass charms, small charms such as watch parts, small game pieces, beads etc. IMPORTANT STUFF NEEDED is safety glasses, apron, protective gloves for cutting metal like gardening gloves (leather ideally). If students have tin snips or cutters, glass cutter, large metal files (as found in household or garage tool box) please bring them along, will teach how to use them.
If students have own soldering iron and stand, please bring along, Lesley will teach you how to use it.
If students have a colorful metal can they would like to share, like a popcorn, cookie, or biscotti tin, student will learn how to dismantle and cut the tin up. Tin is included in class so students do not have to bring one.
Lesley will provide the rest of the tools, metals, tin, wire, and things needed.
